Go Solar Now!
And Take Control of Your Energy Future

Thanks to State incentives, local rebates, and Federal tax credits, converting your home to solar energy has never been more affordable and worthwhile. Why not let the professionals at Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling show you how.
Did you know about these money saving incentives….
- 30% federal Tax credit
- Utility company rebates (on a per-watt of solar installed basis) can yield up to as much as $10,000 or more in rebates.
- Substantial utility rebate incentives- Utility companies decrease their energy rates and will actually give you money pay backs for having solar power
- Save 75% or more on utility costs, depending on your solar power systems.
- The California Solar Initiative offers cash back for installing solar on your home or business. Learn more: http://www.gosolarcalifornia.ca.gov/
- FREE Green energy from the sun
- Excellent return on investment
If you dream of
FREEDOM FROM ELECTRIC BILLS
Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling can help you accomplish this mission!
Reduce Your Dependency From Utility Companies.
Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling is proud to offer Green Power Solar System products.
Green Power Solar Systems can be CUSTOMIZED to any size or application. Unlike many solar companies that want to install the largest system possible, Green Power Dealers put the CUSTOMER FIRST. We will design the most cost effective system, based on your needs.
If you are interested in FINANCING your Green Power Solar System, options are available that will offset a large portion or potentially all of your monthly payment with reductions in your utility bill. Some homes even realize positive cash flow through the use of financing. If you simply want to defer payment, 12 month no payment programs are available as well. During a FREE NO-OBLIGATION CONSULTATION, we will provide a complete explanation of all of the opportunities.
An INVESTMENT IN SOLAR is an investment in freedom from rising energy costs, and an investment in a sustainable future for you and the environment.

How does Solar Power Work?

First, there are two approaches towards converting solar energy into power that we use in our homes and businesses. Both involve the use of a solar panel but have different benefits. These approaches are Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic. Indoor Comfort Heating and Cooling Specializes in both methods discussed below.
Solar Thermal - The solar thermal method uses energy from the sun directly to generate heat. A simple explanation follows:
- Solar panels are used to collect heat from the sun, capture it and then transfer it for water and space heating.
- They are positioned and move in order to capture the most heat throughout the day.
- They contain tubes that circulate water. These tubes are called thermal collectors.
- When water is heated directly in the tubes, they call this a direct method.
- Sometimes, instead of circulating water, non-toxic anti-freeze liquid is used. When this is used the warmth from the sun is later transferred from the anti-freeze to water held in a tank. This is the indirect method.
- The heated water is then used with other various geothermal heating systems to heat and cool homes and businesses.
Photovoltaic- This method converts the sun’s power into electricity. This is the photovoltaic process and can be simplified to an explanation as follows.
- solar/ photovoltaic cells absorb the sunlight (not warmth as in the thermal application)
- these cells are combined to form solar panels
- many solar panels are combined and interlinked to create more power
- when the sunlight hits the solar panel it excites the electrons in the solar cell and produces electricity
- the electricity is now in the form of DC or direct current
- the DC power is transformed to AC or alternating current through a inverter
- at this point a small amount of solar energy is lost in this conversion but this energy is now ready to be used throughout your home and appliances.
Please note that you may be connected to the regular power grid and if there is extra unused energy it is often possible to feed this energy back into the grid.
When this happens, the Utility companies give money pay backs. That’s right, the Utility companies, pay you … sounds great huh!
